Warrior is one of the truck concepts we would like to see in production. However, fans of the Titan truck are still keeping tabs open on the performance Nismo edition. This is a dream truck with boosted performance and great driving skills. For several years we are listening rumors about the vehicle, but it seems like the 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo might be the reality.
The production is not going to start immediately. The Japanese carmaker is bringing updates in all the segments. However, the focus is on crossovers and SUVs, and their electric units. On the other hand, the truck class generates the most profit. So, fans can expect big things on the upcoming full-size pickup. The 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo is just one of the ways to draw more attention and increase sales of the entire lineup.
2021 Nissan Titan Nismo Features
There is no too many Nismo vehicles in the squad. However, the company is enhancing mostly small models, such as Juke crossover or sports cars. The Titan Nismo will be the largest model that gets the package. Well, its size doesn’t allow us to compare it to any other vehicle. But, from what we’ve heard, a more aggressive appearance is the key.
Outside, we will see a special set of wheels. The Nismo will also use a performance exhaust system that will help the truck perform better on the road. It won’t be wise to go off the road since the engineers can decrease the ground clearance for the Nissan Titan Nismo to boost the aerodynamic and overall performance.
2021 Nissan Titan Nismo Specs
The exhaust system is only one of the upgrades that will be available for the package. It is still questionable what kind of engine the truck can use. A V8 is powerful, but buyers will look for more power. A 5.6-liter displacement is ready to burst 400 ponies. However, the performance pickup is going to need more. There are a few options, but we doubt that twin-turbo V6 can fit the performance truck. Just for the record, the GT-R sports car can deliver 565 ponies. Of course, upgrades such as cold air intakes and air filters are needed to cool down the engine.
It is not easy to believe in these rumors. However, the company will do all to revive the interest in its truck. The 2021 Nissan Titan Nismo is the shocking therapy. The model has the weakest selling numbers in the full-size class. It is hard to believe that Titan is going to threaten Ford F-150 and other US trucks. But, since all other companies are upgrading the lineup, the Japanese truckmaker has to do the same.
On the other hand, it is more likely to see the Warrior concept in production, since we don’t know how many buyers will choose the Nismo package over the off-road ready model. Still, it is up to Nissan to decide and they have enough time. Next season we will see flagship models – Rogue, Infiniti QX60, and 400Z. After that, the rest of the lineup is going through the redesign process. Titan is one of them, and the next-gen truck could bring a special edition.
